Mary L. Smith, 75, of Shawnee, Ks passed away July 3, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, July 15, 2018 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 5325 Nieman Rd, Shawnee, Ks 66203. Ms. Smith was born on August 6, 1942 in Fitchberg, Massachusetts.

Mary was a loving grandmother, mother, sister, aunt friend, and co-worker. She was kind, loving, generous, and a sweet soul. Mary was a long standing church member, she loved her family and friends and was a second mother to many!

She was preceded in death by daughter Anita Marie Bergman, father Joseph Ragusa and mother Elsie Ragusa.

Survivors include son Steve Smith, Shawnee, Ks, grandson Alex Bergman, son-in-law Greg Bergman, brother Joey (Gerry) Ragusa, and brother Arthur (Sandy) Ragusa.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Children’s Mercy Hospital or American Diabetes Association

    Peace to all you. Ive known Mary and Anita for such a long time, and they were both always such a pleasure. My prayers for the both of them, but I know they are together in a the best place there is. I know you all will miss Mary, but you will be together again. Blessings.
