Mary Lou Cupp

Mary Lou Cupp, 83, of Independence, Missouri, passed away May 12, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in the Atrium Chapel at Unity Village, Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Mary Lou was born January 6, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was an elementary school teacher, Xerox trainer, realtor, and finally happily retired to pursue her favorite hobbies. She loved theater, the Kansas City Symphony, basket weaving, fine dining, and red wine. She was dedicated to her Unity faith, participating at church and teaching Unity classes. Mary Lou raised two daughters, Michelle Cupp and Melissa Cupp, as reflections of herselt–strong, intelligent, compassionate, and independent. She also bestowed these qualities and her love of theater to her granddaughter, Olivia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
