Mary Marcella Shrout, 87, Kansas City, MO passed away February 16, 2008 in Ft. Worth, TX. Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Thursday, Feb 21, 2008 at the chapel at College Church of the Nazarene, Olathe, KS. Funeral services will follow at the church at 1 PM. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, KC, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Marcy was born November 22, 1920. She dedicated her life to her husband and the church. The wife of a longtime Nazarene minister, Mary worked at the Nazarene World HQ and was deeply involved with her husband’s founding of the church’s senior ministry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; and son, Stanley. Survivors include; niece, Kay Freeman, and nephew, John Simmons. (arr. Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 816-313-1677)
