Matthew C. Jones, 33, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away May 31, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO.
Matt was born on July 6, 1986 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by: father, Dale Jones; and grandparents.
He is survived by: mother, Sue Jones; sister, Angela Jones; son, Matthew Jones, Jr.; one niece; three newphews; and fiance, Amanda Vasquez.
Matt enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by many.

My brother & I had so many good memories spending time with you. Danny & I would sneak over in the middle of the night to kick it with you. Matt was always laughing and smiling, he always had my back & if someone was giving me trouble he would stick up for me. I’ll never forget his kindness and also i’ll never forget smoking my first bleezy with you & eating a whole pack of frozen waffles sitting there laughing our asses off. I miss playing cards with you & your mother, driving around at night listening to music talking about how crazy life is & i’ll never forget you Matt Jones! I have years of memories and i wish i could see you again and give you a big hug my friend. RIP & my heart goes to your family.
