Matthew A. Friend, 40, Oak Grove, MO passed away at his home Joly 28, 2003. Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Colburn Road Restoration, Gate 2. Memorial contributions may be made in Matthew’s name to Bank of Grain Valley, PO Box 285, Grain Valley, MO 64029. Matthew was born December 28, 1962 in Denver, Colorado. Matthew was Vice-President of Sales and Marketing as well as office mamager of CG Industries of MO, Inc. He was a Deacon in the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ. Matthew wa a member of Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl. His primary involvements were with his family. He is survived by: wife of 18 years, Jolene Friend of the home; daughters, Tarah, Sarah, Karah; parents, Glen and June Friend, Grain Valley, MO; brothers, Mark Friend, Buckner, MO, Jacob Friend, Grain Valley, MO; sister, Susan Hausheer, Grain Valley, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
