MB Keeney, 83 of Centralia MO, formerly of Rolla MO, passed away peacefully on June
29, 2026 at University Hospital in Columbia MO. He was known lovingly to his family as
B, daddy, grandpa and pawpaw.
He was born April 23, 1943 near Licking MO to William Henry Bennett & Gladys Ruby
(Hayes) Keeney.
MB worked most of his adult life as an auto mechanic, a profession he truly loved. He
could fix anything. Even long after his retirement, people continued to seek his advice
and expertise. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles with family
and friends.
On August 30, 1964 he married Linda Jean Beeler in Houston MO. They enjoyed
almost 62 wonderful years together.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Dorothy Lotz; brothers Roy, Lonnie and
Garry; son Kevin Wayne Keeney in 2012; and great-granddaughter Khloe Keeney
Henson.
He is survived by his wife Linda Keeney of the home; two daughters Melissa White of
Centralia and Peggy (Dave) Borrok of Rolla. Grandchildren Zachary (Justina) Keeney
and their children Wesley and Lydia of Rolla; Kasey Keeney and her children Allyson,
James, Landyn and Levi of Rolla; Shae Keeney and his son Elliott of Springfield; Kayla
Denton and her children Xander and Zoe of Columbia; Keisha Keeney and her children
Kyleigh and Hunter of Newburg; Dyshyn (Jessica) Visage and their children Zachary
and Maverick of Carbondale IL; Tyshaleen (Sam) Nelson and their son Sterling of
Kansas City; Shamion (Skyler) Visage and their children Elena and Ziya of Rolla; Eli
White of Centralia; Kevin Keeney II of Kansas City; David Borrok; Anabell Borrok and
Quinn Borrok all of Rolla. He is also survived by his brother Charles Keeney and sister
Kathy Ryno; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of MB’s life will be held later in Rolla MO. Arrangements are under the
direction of Heartland Cremation & Burial Society of Columbia MO.
