Michael Anderson

Michael E Anderson was born September 16, 1944 in Belle Plaine, IA, was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy Anderson, his son Chad and brother Pat.  He’s survived by his wife Norma, son Tyson (Valerie) and Grandchildren Bailey, Charlotte, Ronin and Zachary and sister Sharon.

He and Norma raised their children while operating a resort at Table Rock Lake. As a salesman, Mike travelled around the USA selling and servicing tools and equipment.  He did many workshops on woodworking.  His friends remember him as prankster and a joker.  He never failed to have a strong opinion on anything.

An avid outdoorsman, Mike loved to fish and hunt.  It was a passion that took him across the Rocky Mountains, Alaska and Mexico.  Mike was a talented woodworker and made many keepsakes for his family.  He helped his father make beautiful furniture.

Mike took his wife Norma on many trips including a vacation in Hawaii.  He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time hunting, boating and fishing with them.
