Michael Arthell Davis

Michael Arthell Davis age 64, eldest son of the late Dallas and Viola Davis of Auxvasse, MO passed away on August 8, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 13 at 11:00 a.m. Richland Baptist Church 5301 County Road 220 Kingdom City, MO 65262. A private burial will be held at a later date.Michael was a conscientious and steady worker who was employed at various factories throughout the community, Florsheim Shoe, Stride Rite and Backer’s Potato Chip Factory. Mike attended Hatton McCredie and Auxvasse Elementary Schools and graduated from R-1 North Callaway High School, from there he attended Ranken Technical College and Moberly Area Community College. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Barbara Jean Davis, Brother James Rodney Davis and nephew Christopher Shane Davis. Mike is survived by sisters Jackie {Mike) Butler, Delores (Tim) Phillips and Betty (David) Wint. Surviving brothers David (Jan), Dennis and Webster (Brenda) along with many nieces and nephews. Throughout his life he acquired many friends and acquaintances. Their support and friendship was valued more than words can say.

    Mike and I were in the same grades, and had lots of classes together. He always had a smile on his face. In the adult age picture that was posted, I was glad to see he maintained his happy countenance in life! Deepest sympathy to all!
