Michael Bruce Patterson, age 70, of Kansas City, Ks. passed away November 16, 2018 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City. A military burial to take place 10 am on December 14, 2018 at Veterans Cemetery, 1208 North College St. in Winfield, Ks.  Following burial services there will be a Celebration of Life in Wellington, Ks. at Grace Baptist Fellowship, 305 North Jefferson Ave.Michael was born October 21, 1948 in Wichita, Ks. to Glenn L. and Viola R. (Palmer) Patterson.

He was a 1966 graduate of Wellington High School. Graduated from the University of Kansas in 1980. A Viet Nam veteran serving in the U.S Army as an Interpreter from 1970 to 1976. Michael loved riding his motorcycle, a published Author/Poet, Artist, and Photographer.
Survivors include his mother, Viola R. Patterson, of Wellington, Ks. His daughter, Kyra Patterson of Germantown, Md., her husband Corey Chase, grandchildren Jorden, Corinna, and Devin. His sister, Teri-Lyn Yoder, of Hutchinson, Ks.

    Michael was such a nice person .Still cannot believe this has happened to him. He had a brain as sharp as a tack !! Many prayers go to his mom and family.God bless you , Michael . ?
