Michael Dale Wheeler

Michael Dale Wheeler, age 72, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025.

Born in 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas, He was the child of Dale Edward Wheeler and Patty Lou Cowan Wheeler. Michael graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wyoming, in 1971. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and in 1996, he earned his MBA from the University of Houston. Michael was a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and had a management consulting business in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Michael loved mentoring, coaching, and helping anybody he could improve their careers, reach their dreams, and improve their situation in life.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also found joy in working with his sons and other young men, helping them become great men through coaching and refereeing youth soccer, baseball, and football and his Boy Scouts and DeMolay leadership.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Wolf Wheeler, sons Justin Paul Wheeler and wife Vanessa Garcia Wheeler, Christopher Glen Wheeler and wife Sara Roy Wheeler, and Wolf Michael Wheeler mother Patty Lou Cowan Wheeler, sister Connie Sue Wheeler Morton, brother-in-law Jack Morton; and grandchildren Wesley Paul Wheeler, Kaleigh Paige Wheeler, Emily Ryan Wheeler, Aimey Faith Wheeler, and our precious Sadie Grace Wheeler.

A memorial service will be held in June in Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church or DeMolay International in Michael Dale Wheeler’s honor.
