Michael E. Weiner, 71, KCMO passed away July 8, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Church of the Resurrection-Wesley Chapel in Leawood, KS. He was born Dec. 25, 1941 in Kansas City, MO.
Mike was in the printing trade for 30 years, then spent 15 years in sales before retiring. He was an active member of the BSA, beginning as a cub scout, achieving  the rank of Eagle Scout and remained active until his passing. He volunteered countless summers at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. He loved spending time with family and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a talented and avid woodworker. Mike leaves a hole in the heart of all who loved him and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Morris & Esther Weiner, Neal & Martha Walters, parents; Max & Dorothy Weiner and brother; Marvin Weiner.
Survivors include loving wife Pat, sons; Rob (Mary), Tobey (Nikki), Ethan (Julie), brother Dennis (Elaine), sister Sara Jo (David) Yukon, grandchildren; Bradley, Andrew, Tyler, Gavin, Grant, Gavin, Greyson, Rylee, great grandson, Drake and other family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Crazy Horse Memorial or the World Wildlife Fund.

    Just read Mikes obituary and noticed he was born on Christmas day! What a precious gift the Lord gave when he gave him to the world! We will always remember him with fondness and though we had not seen you for a long time we always treasure your friendship.
