Michael Hinrichs

Michael "Mickey" L. Hinrichs, 63, Lake Lafayette, MO, passed away February 6, 2009.
Memorial Services and a "bring a dish" celebration dinner will be held
from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Lake Lafayette
Community Building, Lake Lafayette, MO

Mr. Hinrichs was born September 28, 1945 in Kansas City, MO.
He was a member of Sheet Metal Worker’s Local #2 for 45 years, a member
of American Legion Post #499, Blue Springs, MO, active in the Odessa
VFW, veteran of the United States Army M.P. Corps and proud member of
the Lake Lafayette Water Committee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Survivors include:  wife, Molly of Lake Lafayette; a son, Kelly
Hinrichs of Independence: a daughter, Deena Knabe and son-in-law Kirk
Knabe of Mayview, MO; a daughter; Cassandra Collins and son-in-law
Randy Collins of Raytown; a brother, Jim Hinrichs and sister-in-law
Judy Hinrichs of Odessa; a sister, Peggy Harrington of Texas;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob & Kathleen Thorpe of Lake
Lafayette; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 nephews and many
loving friends.

    Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. I wish I could help see your projects through but I don’t live there. I just keep praying that your projects will be finished. You always taught me to look out for #1. I finally get it. #1 is the best interest of ALL.
