Michael Orender, 62 of Independence, Missouri passed away on March 6th, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm, Thursday, March 12th at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown. Missouri. A visitation will be held at 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.  A celebration of life dinner will be held immediately following the funeral at the VFW, 12810 E Kentucky Ave, Independence, MO.  The family asks that you please bring a dish if you are going to join them for dinner.
Michael was born on January 22nd,1953 in Kansas City Missouri.  He was a retired welder who loved to fish, play pool, playing his guitar and singing. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Ivan and Minnie Orender; sister, Linda Kay Tunas; Sonny Tunas-Nephew; grandson, Xaviar Stow; great nephew, Wesley Allen Cochran Jr. Survivors include: wife, Linda Orender; daughter and her husband, Angela Orender & Chris; daughter and her husband, Shanna Armstrong & Bobby; daughter and her husband, Christie Manes & Mario; sister, ReGenia Niemeier (Loren); brother, Gary Orender (Brenda); brother, Ivan Orender (Paula); 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to help with funeral costs.
