Mildred May Kessinger

Mildred May Kessinger, 78, Raytown, MO went to heaven on August 16, 2013.  Visitation will be held 9-10AM, Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO.  Graveside services will follow 10AM at Brooking Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mildred was born May 30, 1935.  She was a beautiful person who was full of life.  When you were down she’d pick you up.  Mildred loved her family, sons and grandchildren very much and did everything she could to help them.  She love to shop and she love her clothes.  Over the years, she acquired quite a wardrobe.  She also loved flowers, especially roses.  Mildred was quite the cook.  She was especially famous for her chocolate pie.

Mildred lived most of her life in Kansas City, MO.  She was a strong person who took care of herself and her mother. Mildred retired from Baby Tenda, after 31 years in 2005.  Throughout the years, she travelled wither her family and also her dear friends, Ruth and Arthur.  The past few years she’s lived with Ruth, her close friend.

Mildred was preceded in death by; her parents,  David & Peggy; and sons, Michael and Scott.  She leaves behind; her sister, Alice Roscoe & her husband James, Belton, MO; son, Robert Kessinger, Monett, MO and six grandchildren. (arr. Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 816-313-1677)
