Montie G. Montgomery, 93, Independence, MO passed away December 3, 2018 at John Knox Village House Hospice. He was born October 8, 1925 in Bakersfield, CA. Montie honorably served his country during World War II as a member of the Army Air Force. He loved fishing and hunting, Pepsi and chewing tobacco.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 70 years, Colleen.
He is survived by his daughter Linda (Harold) Chance, son David Montgomery, grandson Shane (Chrissy) Wall, great-grandsons Riley, Jake and Cody, and a great-great granddaughter Olivia.
A graveside memorial will be held at a later date
