Monty Elaine (Locher) Kimbrough, 83, Kansas City, Missouri passed away January 13, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri. Monty was born in Mt Vernon Township, Illinois on April 3rd, 1937 to Leroy & Mable Locher. She was a life long antique collector, dealer and the owner of Monty’s Half Price Books & Comics in Independence, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by: parents and sister, Shirley McCrackin of Gladstone, Missouri. Survivors include; husband of 65 years, John R Kimbrough, sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin & Diana Kimbrough, Independence, Missouri, Jeff & Barbara Kimbrough, Independence, Missouri; Jonny & Mercy Kimbrough, Independence, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law, Jody & Mark Cubley, Raytown, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

So sorry for your loss. Monty was a lovely lady. She loved her husband and family very much. She was a fantastic cook. Monty will be missed.
I am sorry for the loss of Aunt Monty. She was a very Special person, and one of the Best of the Very Best we ever could have been blessed with to know and love. This is one woman who was there through thick and thin. She is missed. Be at Peace to all.
