Nancy Lee Bingham

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Nancy Lee Bingham.  Nancy was 74 years old and passed away surrounded by family at her residence on July 13^th, 2024.  She is preceded in death by: her husband Bernard, parents Eugene and Nina Thrift, her brothers; Richard, Steve, and Allen Thrift, and her twin sister Kathy Blackburn .

Mom was born in Saint Cloud, MN. on March 31^st 1950.  Her family moved to Columbia, MO. shortly after and she called Columbia home for the remainder of her life. She is survived by: her two children; Chastity Brilhante and Daniel (Loren) Vandergriff, her three grandchildren; Tryston Brilhante, Sam and Jack Vandergriff, her sisters; Dorothy, Barbara, and Mary, and her brother Mike.

Broken wing or broken heart, Mom was a fierce guardian healer to animals and people alike.  Always caring and protective to those in need, without question or judgement.  These innate traits were uncommon and frequently resulted in sustained and final healing for even the most damaged souls.

Heaven became even better on July 13^th 2024.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10:00 AM on Saturday 7/20/2024 at Oakland Cemetery in Columbia, MO. Mom asked that any memorial contributions be sent to Armani’s Angels (501 c 3) non-profit, that helps injured animals.
