Nathan Edward Grindstaff

Nathan Edward Grindstaff, 27, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away April 27, 2020 at home. He was born August 26, 1992.

Nathan was a caring soul,  genuine brother & friend, and  beloved son. He lived a simple life and only needed few things to remain content. He enjoyed gaming with his friends and always looked forward to coming home from work and meeting up with them online. Nathan also liked spending time outdoors in the fresh air, hanging out with his mom and close friends, talking and laughing. He was an animal lover with a soft heart when it came to his four cats who he loved more than anything. At work, his co-workers and boss could all agree that he was a model employee, a hard worker who always had a smile to offer, and he was always willing to help someone out.  He is missed by all and will forever be in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by: father, Charles Grindstaff; and two uncles.

Survivors include: mother and best friend, Brenda Grindstaff; sister, Jennifer Wyatt; four nieces; one great nephew; one grandmother; two aunts; and close friends, Taylor, Taylor’s father David, Jordan, Nick, Johnny and James.

There will be a memorial gathering held at a future date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to: gofundme, Memorial fund for Nate Grindstaff.

There was never a day that Nathan did not have a smile on his face. Anyone that that had the honor of knowing Nate is a lucky person. We are the privileged ones!. Nate knew what brought happiness to him and he did just that. Putting in a good day of work and then home to see his kitties that he adored was his bright spot. You are truly missed my friend.

My dear sweet son. I feel so immobilized right now. Trying to live without seeing your smiley face every day. I know you would not want me to be a puddle on the floor all the time, but I’m still trying to grasp this new reality. Fly high my son. Send me signs so I know you are okay. Mama loves you always!
