He married Jana Muchow on January 7, 1978, and they were married for 41 years. He devoted more than three decades of his life to active and lay ministry as a church planter, pastor, and Bible teacher. Neal was an avid reader of historical non-fiction. He loved Jayhawk basketball, gardening, fishing and camping in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado—and pie!

A celebration of Neal’s life will be scheduled for later this summer at Lee’s Summit Community Church; more details forthcoming.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Reliant Mission at https://reliant.org/ or (407) 671-9700. Reliant was dear to Neal’s heart, as many of his friends serve in active ministry with the organization to partner with missional churches and Gospel-centered ministries.
