Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
Nilda Edith Tau, 72, earned her wings on October 9th, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer, while surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband and soulmate, Diego, with whom she shared 55 amazing years, her 2 daughters Paula Tau and Gabby Tau-Macha (Samuel Macha), and 2 of the biggest joys of her life, her grandchildren Michael and McKayla.
Her smile and laughter were contagious, and her sarcastic wit was magnetic. Her mouth had no filter. But her giving spirit knew no bounds. She loved hard, she laughed hard, and she fought hard until the Gates of Heaven swung open for her to come home.
Her love and kindness to all she met will stay in our hearts forever.
Until we meet again.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10 AM to Noon, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133.
I worked with Nilda at Amazon MKC2/3 and absolutely loved her she will be missed dearly by so many. RIP my friend gone but never forgotten???
Love you Tia Nilda! Hasta que nos volvamos a ver!
I use to work with Nilda at Quidsi.
Was always nice and respectful to me.
This is almost kind of surreal to me, but am reminded that life happens.
Rest in peace.
I worked with Nilda. Always a smile and full of jokes. She will be missed.
Nilda was always one of my favorite people at work. She would say the most wildly inappropriate comments that always made me laugh. She will truly be missed.
I love that “her mouth had no filter” is in Nilda’s tribute :). That is how I will forever remember her.
I worked with Nilda in multiple Amazon buildings. She could always make me smile and laugh regardless of whatever else was going on. She will surely be missed.
So sorry for your lost, she was a very nice and good person, we were very good friends at the time that we lived in Kansas many years ago.She is in a better place now. Rest in peace
I am Sorry for you loss. I worked with your Mom off front street called Quidsi. We hit it off as a friend of mines. I’m a cancer survivor as well. I just loved her vibe about her. The last time I seen her it’s been some years at Independence Mall. I was happy to see her. And missed working with her. She told me to keep in touch after I saw her. But you get wrapped up with family issues too. I loved her much as my friend. R.I.H???
My sincere condolences to the whole family.

I will truly miss this lady. My second Mom. A beautiful woman, whom our whole family loves and adores.
Many years our families shared in making priceless memories. The one I will cherish always, is the friendship Mom and Nilda had.
It is with the deepest of sympathies, I give condolences for your family in this time of such sorrow and loss.
Nilda was a fantastic co-worker and the realest person. She was really nice and funny person too, even at work. I got to know her for the 4-5 years I work with her and she was always kind and nice to everybody. I’m glad she is in a better place.
