Norma Ruth Phillips

Norma Ruth Phillips, 89, of Lees Summit, MO passed away on December 30, 2021, at Lakewood Care Center. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown MO. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation at 1:30 pm, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society.

Ms. Phillips was born in Bunceton, MO. Ms. Phillips was the youngest of nine siblings. Ms. Phillips was a business owner and property manager. Ms. Phillips loved to sew and would make baby doll clothes with intricate details that she would donate to charity. Ms. Phillips loved, and was loved, by her family, friends, and caregivers.

Ms. Phillips was preceded in death by her siblings, husband John Phillips, former husband Louis Mammen and son, David.

Ms. Phillips is survived by her son Terry and his wife Kathleen and son Philip. She is also survived by five grandchildren Chelsea and her husband Stephen, Lacey, Spencer and Christine and her husband Jason and Devin, along with six great grandchildren Jackson, Anniston, Hailey, Jayden, Rylee and Camden, and one great-great grandchild Braighley.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO in Ms. Phillips’ memory may be made.
