Patricia Jeanette (McClure) (Crume) Hughes, 76, of Blue Springs, Mo passed away June 8, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Hughes was born December 15, 1941 in Kansas City, Mo.
Pat grew up in Kansas City, Mo and moved to Baxter Springs, KS in 1955. She graduated college from Pitt State in Pittsburg, KS. She retired from the Kansas City School District as Secretary to the Superintendent.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Anna (Barton) McClure and father Fred Melvin “Mel” McClure.
Survivors include her husband Alan W. Hughes, daughter Brooke E. Crume, grandson Evan J.M. Wheeler & spouse, daughter Paige C. (Crume) McKinney and spouse, and granddaughters, granddaughter Danelle M. (McKinney) Kincade and spouse and great grandchildren Jeremy (JJ) M. Kincade Jr. and Makenna (Mak) A. Kincade, granddaughter Rebecca E. McKinney.
A private family service is to be held at the Old Roach Cemetery, Roach, Mo.

I miss you mom. I know that you are finally out of pain and at peace. It hurts so bad but time will help us but not ever cure our loss of you. Thank you for always being a great listener, giving me good advice, never did you judge me & for bringing me into this world. You loved me from the moment you knew you were pregenate. My heart hurts but will heal. I think of you often & family friends & god will help me through this. I will see you again in heaven. Many hugs & kisses. I love you always.
