Patricia “Cookie” Karther, 77, Kansas City, Missouri passed away March 7, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri 64133. Patricia was born September 6, 1943 in Shady Point, Oklahoma to Ozzie Earsel Lamb and Ruby Ouida Lamb. She was married to the love of her life James Darrell Karther on August 8, 1959. Together they had one daughter, Dawn Karther-Dixon. Cookie loved to read, work puzzles and play games. She also loved to entertain family and friends usually with a meal sized to feed an army. She was a bargain hunter and collector, but was more apt to make purchases for others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Darrell Karther, brother Merle Lewis Lamb, and her parents Ozzie and Ruby Lamb.
She is survived by her daughter Dawn (Jermiah) Dixon, grandson Zachary Denney and granddaughter Cheyenne (Gary) Cameron, great-granddaughters Adrianna, Bailey, Ryder and Luna, and great-grandsons Ethan, Sylas and Niklaus.
Dawn, I am so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. Cookie was amazing in all that she done, especially being your mom. You were truly blessed to have had her. Take comfort knowing Cookie will live on in your heart forever.

Dawn, I feel more than I am saying. I guess we wont get together, me you and her as we planned for a spring get together. We shared good time together. You and your family is a part of me. I feel hurt, but thank you for continuing to share them with me. See you soon. Love ya.
Dawn I am so sorry about Cookie passing. You and family are in our prayers. You may not know that Cookie and I along with Nita Loretta, Jim Neal a nd Caroyn William went to Panama school snd graduated together. I am sorry I could not travel at this time
Dear Dawn and family, I am so very grateful for all the time I got to spend with Cookie, she was so a very wonderful, beautiful and unconditionally caring person. I enjoyed every minute I spent in her presence. You are so very blessed to have her as your Mom and my deepest sympathies are with you and your family.
Dawn, I’m so sorry to hear. I know how difficult it is to lose a parent. She obviously was full of life and played a huge part with your Girl Scouts. Praying that you, Cheyenne and the rest of your family find peace during this time.
