Patricia Rae Neland

 Patrica Rae Barnes was born October 21st 1936 in Kansas City,Missouri, to George and Lola Barnes. She passed away on March 18th 2012 at Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, due to complications from pneumonia. Pat lived in Kansas City all her life,residing in North Kansas City for the last 29 years.

 In October of 1954, she married Robert Neland ; and in 1957 she gave birth to the couple first of 3 children, Cindi. Bill was born in 1959 and Nancy in 1963.

Patrica was a dedicated mother; hand-making matching square dancing dresses, giving-into plea’s for low cut bell bottoms, or lending support and listening to a son. She was a friend and confidant, loyal and loving. She was a hard worker, at a pharmacy, as a maid, and a bartender. Later, she enjoyed babysitting children and caring for her 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father George, mother Lola, brother “Butch” and father of her children Robert.

 Survivor’s include her 3 children, Cindi, Bill, and Nancy; 4 grandchildren, Roselynn, Russell, Christina, and Angela; 12 great grandchildren, and many more who are as good as family.

 Visitation services will be Thursday, March 22nd at 12:00pm and memorial services will be at 1:00pm at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, located at 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133, 816-313-1677
