Patrick (PJ) Oxenfeldt

Patrick (PJ) Oxenfeldt, 36, of Independence, MO passed away January 24, 2021 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, Monday, February 1, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133.

Patrick was born on July 14, 1984 in Kansas City, MO.

PJ loved sports whether he was watching or playing. He enjoyed watching the Royals, Chiefs and KU Basketball. PJ enjoyed playing golf. He was a guitar tech for Justin Moore, Tracy Lawrence, Kelsea Ballerini, Billy Currington, 311, Reverend Horton Heat, Manchester Orchestra and Anti Flag. He was able to Travel the world with these bands.

He was preceded in death by: father, Mark; paternal grandparents, David and Marilyn Oxenfeldt; maternal grandparents, Hartle and Helen Wilson.

Survivors include: mother, Betsy and husband Tracy Schmidt; sister, Devon Smith; three nephews, Nathan, Corbin and Milo Smith; uncle, Dan (Sandy) Braga; and cousins, Rachel Braga and Laura Braga.

Memorial contributions are suggested to: Alcoholics Anonymous.

    I went to longfellow elementary with P.J… we were good friends back then.. I will always remember the talent show we dance together in. After all these years its still one of the most memorable moments I have.. Gonna miss you and Hope you Had a wonderful life … prayers and blessings to your family
