Paul Douglas Kniola, 74, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on July 10, 2021 surrounded by his two daughters. Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 2600 Lovers Lane, St Joseph, MO 64506.
Mr. Kniola was born July 30, 1947 in St. Joseph, MO.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lylia B Musser and brother, John Joseph Kniola.
His survivors include: daughter, Erica Niehues; son-in-law, Jared Niehues and three granddaughters, Braydn, Esmae, and Rosallie Niehues of Spring Hill, KS; daughter, Karah Kniola of Overland Park, KS.
Memorial contributions are suggested to: the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.

I always enjoyed visiting with Paul at Maloney’s. It was always a true pleasure. I’m better for having known him. To the family, I understand your pain at this time but take comfort knowing that his pain is now gone. Bless you all.
I only knew your father for a brief time however, something had an impact on me that I cannot express to you or convey my feelings of connection and pride around him and his ‘story’. I won’t begin to suggest I know him or his life-I can only convey my feelings and I’m grateful to have know him.
