Paul Michael Henson

Paul Michael Henson, age 66 of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Sunday February 11th after a brief illness in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Paul was born March 31, 1957 in Clinton, Missouri to Glenn Henson and Connie Maxine Conrad Henson.

Paul was a sweet loving man with a gentle spirit and simple tastes in life. He dearly loved his family and was equally loved in return. He had a vast knowledge of music and could answer almost any question about any song, artist, and year you would ask. He loved fishing and the many beloved pets that he had throughout the years. He also knew a lot about sports and sports figures and loved to follow and watch the Kansas City Chiefs.

Though he grew up in Missouri, Paul never married or had children leaving him free to wander and experience living most of his adult years in California, the Florida Keys, and Leadville in the mountains of Colorado. Through all his experiences in life Paul was very knowledgeable and would converse with you on any subject you cared to discuss.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother Connie, father Glenn, stepfather Edward Cooper, maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers Gary Henson, Jeff Henson, and nephews Tony Wilson and Carl Wilson.

Paul is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Sue Henson Wilson Vasholz and Larry Vasholz, brother Kevin Cooper, sister Kelly Cooper and nephews Zachary Lopez, and Spencer Cooper, sister-in law Regina Henson and nieces Tracy Henson and Ginny Henson.

Paul, we will miss your gentle spirit, your love of life and family and your laugh that no one could forget. You will be greatly missed until we see you on the other side.
