Leah and Wes, I am so sorry for your loss. I am so glad that I was able to make the trip out there to see Peggy and you guys last month. Dad would be happy that we all came together one last time. I wish there would have been more time, especially for you, but I am grateful that Peggy is at peace. She was so happy to have you two and those boys around her. She now can be with dad again. I love you both so very much. I wish so much that I could be there and I want you to know that if I could I would be. I love you and I am always here for you both!
    Love your big sis!

I love Peggy and I will miss her. I worked with her at Missouri River Regional Library. It is hard to put into words what was so special about her. She’s someone you want to live next door to. She is funny and kind. I think it was the character of her heart that is so special. She added soothing compassion. I will miss her so much. She loved her kids and grandkids and her misbehaving dogs. I am so sorry for your loss.

    Dear Wesley and Leah,

Peggy was a dear and cherished friend. I gave this poem titled “My Friend” to your mom while we were working at the library:

Thank you for bringing sunshine to my gray and gloomy days, for being there when needed, and for your caring, loving ways.

Thank you for encouragement when I was weary and distraught, for words of consolation, and all the joy you brought.

Thank you for all your prayers that were made on my behalf, for helping to erase my tears and to replace them with a laugh.

I can face each new tomorrow for I know I can depend…on God who sent an angel, and it is you my precious friend.

    Love, Sandy
