Born to Curt and Jane Bennet, Penny was a woman of faith, warmth, and spirited humor. A devoted viewer of Calvary Chapel’s online services, her faith was a steady presence in her life. Penny was known for her compassionate heart, her playful nature, and her ability to bring joy to any room she entered.
She had a special bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them—watching Disney movies, laughing over her clever pranks, and enjoying peaceful afternoons as they fished at the pond on her property. Her home was a place of laughter, comfort, and the unforgettable smell of something amazing coming from her kitchen.
Penny was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Boden; her parents, Curt and Jane Bennet; her sister, Lily; and her brothers, Gary and Ron.
She is survived by her children: Angela (Ted) Hambach, Darrin (Stephanie) Boden, Kevin Boden, Robin Boden and significant other Chris Dalgetty; her grandchildren: Robby (Abbey) Dirigo, Cory (Breanna) Dirigo, J.T. (Abigail) Dirigo, Shalin Hubbard, Chloe Boden, Hunter Boden, Masie Boden, Kenna Dalgetty, and Addie Dalgetty; and her great-grandchildren, Ava Dirigo, Gabi Dirigo, and Sophia Dirigo; her youngest brother, Mark (Shari) Bennett; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her immensely.
Penny’s legacy of love, laughter, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her.
