I have known Phil 40+ years when we traveling. His kindness and positive outlook and his deep faith were the traits that made him special. We lost touch over the years but were able to connect several years ago. His memories of family and his walk with the Lord were an inspiration to me and many others. He left the world a better place. Peace to his family.

Though we were not well aquainted, i saw Phil V. Thomas made a great impact on and was greatly appreciated and beloved by his facebook friends as well. His writing influenced a lot of souls. As the Lord put him in my mind, i contacted him recently to offer prayer and an ear, if needed, and though i was a stranger and he could not write well anymore as he told me, he was very patient and friendly in his response.
May His family receive comfort and solace through the Holy Spirit and the Love of God be with you all.

Oh Phil, I loved you so. You were so kind to me that day in the town square. We listened to my friend play music, worshiped and fellowshipped. That was one of my most memorable days of adventure, fun and Christ’s blessings, and that is the day we met you. ?? Fly high sweet soul, your light shines on with me!!

My hope is firm in God’s promise. Knowing Phil in this life has been but a great head start on eternity. He lived and loved well and we will worship together again, this time without end. Until the day you return with Jesus brother, know that your legacy lives on…

“Beloved brothers and sisters, we want you to be quite certain about the truth concerning those who have passed away, so that you won’t be overwhelmed with grief like many others who have no hope. I first knew Phil and family going on a youth retreat at age 12 with my brother Bill Morrison at Bethel assembly of God. Through the Thomas family I got more confirmation on what a Godly family is all about. I have three brothers and no sisters. There I got to see two beautiful sisters respond and react in a Godly family, priceless, I think I kept thinking at the time , boy Jesus maybe I would marry a girl like this. They were so kind and sweet. It was very educational. On that trip I learned about contact lenses and faults teeth. Most of all I learned about how God was the center of their family. They were a very good influence on my life. Today I am in ministry I have played my violin all over the world even in the Israeli Knesset and have been with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn for the last 20 years playing prophetically on the violin. I know Phil is dancing before YESHUA with his wife and son Stanley. I am looking forward to being home and seeing all the Loved ones that have gone on before us and never having to say goodbye. In the NAME YESHUA I Bless you Thomas family and thank you for being a good influence in my life.

    The Priestly Benediction

22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

    Bless you all????????

    PS.
I have 9 beautiful children who I have homeschooled. Praise ABBA!!!

I knew Phil as a kind & gentle man. He was a treasured friend, a skilled musician, and left a mark of excellence in all that he put his hands to. May the memories of his time here comfort those who loved him most!?

Phil was an awesome Christian and a amazing man. We meet at my auto repair shop and I not only got to know his car but soon I learned much more about him. He was going threw some tuff times and he would talk to me about it, like how he loved his daughter so and didnt want to be a burden on her. Mostly though his love for God was amazing. I’ll never forget his kindness and love. Jim Vanzandt

    What a precious man!
Phil was such a joy and blessing to me and to so many people! I loved his writings. Loved spending time with him sharing the love of God and praying together. I learned so much from him…his deep love of the Lord and his genuine care and concern for others. When we talked he made me do some deep thinking. 🙂
I first met him and his wife, Barbara when I went to stay with his parents in their home for several months during the time before I was married and I was working in
El Dorado and going to their church. They took me in and loved me like family! It’s been many years ago, but I’m so thankful I was able to reconnect with Phil in my later years and had the privilege and honor to get to get to know him. Ohhh the love he had for the Lord! Wow!
And now he actually gets to see Him face to face! Hallelujah!
I envy him.. in a good way! “Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His saints.”
