Phyllis Geres

Phyllis Carmen Geres, 79, Kansas City, MO died January 12, 2011 at her home. Visitation will be held 2-3 PM, Friday, January 21, 2011 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO. Memorial services will follow at 3 PM. Phyllis was born April 27, 1931 in Tacoma, WA. She moved to Kansas City in 1952 where she met her late husband Walter M Geres. They were married in 1962. Phyllis was an artist, homemaker, and an exceptional cook. Phyllis was Vice President of the Guaranteed Foods company in the 70’s until she left to help raise her grandson. Phyllis loved entertaining houseguests, shopping, and playing cards. She is preceded in death by; husband, Walter Geres, and daughter, Crystina Bedsaul. Phyllis is survived by; grandson, Rick Tompkins and wife Andi, Pleasant Hill, MO; great granddaughter, Kayla Tompkins; granddaughter, Amy Lewis, Kansas City, MO; great granddaughter, Chrystina Wyatt, and great grandson, Jabrielle Francis.(arr.
