Phyllis Jan Settle

Phyllis Jan Settle  was born in Perryville, Missouri  on September 27, 1958, born to Philip and Catherine Settle. On May 25, 2024, after a battle with breast cancer, she went to be with the lord at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Phyllis was a follower of Christ and her walk with Jesus was reflected in all that she did. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she spent many years on the praise and worship team. PJ had a beautiful voice and shared her god given gift with the world.

She enjoyed all things creative and had a passion for nature and photography. She spent most of her career as an entrepreneur designing and remodeling homes in Columbia. But what PJ valued most was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren any chance she could get. She loved attending their activities and finding creative ways to connect with them. Her love and devotion to her family has made an incredible impact on her children, grandchildren and friends. Giving them the firm foundation that kindness, a giving heart, the love of Jesus and faith is what life is all about.
