Ralph “Pat” Combs

Ralph Patton Combs died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the Fayette Care Center, Fayette, MO where he had been a resident since December 27, 2007. Mr. Combs was 96 years of age. Born July 3, 1911, Mr. Combs had been a life-long resident of Howard County Missouri, being born and living on the family farm just west of Harrisburg until December of 2004 at which time he became a resident at the Resthaven Assisted Living Home in Fayette, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joel Norton and Charity Rebecca (Patton) Combs; one brother Roger Hunter Combs; three sisters, Margaret Velma Combs, Charity Mildred Combs and Virginia Louise Nelson. Mr. Combs is survived by two daughters, Pamela S. Bradley of Rolla, MO and Debora J. Call of Henley, MO; one grandson, Robert P. Call of Columbia and one nephew, Howard Combs and family of Harrisburg. Mr. Combs was a member of the Christian Church in Harrisburg. Cremation has been accorded and a private family interment has been held.
