Ramon “Papa” Calderon

Ramon Arcos Calderon, 61, of Independece, MO passed away March 23, 2023, in North Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Calderon was born in 1962 in Tijuana Baja California, Mexico. Ramon was always there when you needed a hand or needed help fixing something. He was a jokester by heart. He loved having fun and making people happy. He didn’t need money to be happy. If you knew him, you knew he loved his Dr. Pepper, Ding Dongs, Reeses and his pan a gansitos. There was never a dull moment with Ramon around.

Ramon was preceded in death by his dad Manuel Calderon Galves, his mother Felipa Calderon Arcos, sisters Marialouisa Gonzalez, Cruz Calderon and Estella-Elia Gonzalez.

Survivors of Ramon include his brother Manuel Calderon and Ricardo Calderon, sisters Salud Gonzalez and Maria De Jesus Calderon De Radillo, daughter Precilla Calderon, son Ramon Calderon Jr. granddaughter Kee-Maya Calderon, and many other loved ones including his nieces and nephews and his honorary granddaughters.

Ramon’s Funeral will take place Thursday March 30th, 2023. at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation is 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Ramon’s Funeral Service will start at 6:00 PM.
