Randall “Randy” York
June 28, 1954, to December 26, 2023
Randy passed away peacefully in Lee’s Summit, MO. Randy was born in Kansas City Mo to Heston York and Donna (Hart) York. Randy grew up in Raytown, MO and graduated from Raytown South High School.
Randy drove a Flat bed Semi for Metals USA for 31 years before retiring in December of 2020, and was a school bus driver for Apple bus/first student for the Odessa MO school district.
Randy had several passions like hunting, muscle cars mustangs and his dads Ranchero was 2 of his favorites, riding his Goldwing, Karate and learning all he can about beagles. Randy also enjoyed hockey and was a season ticket holder to the Kansas City Mavericks.
Randy was proceeded in death by his mom Donna and her husband Gordan “Al”, dad Heston and his wife Veda, infant sister Sheryl, sister Paula, brother Jody and his favorite pet dogs: Sunny, Rocket, Bugzy and cat Boots.
Randy is survived by his wife, Carla of the home; children, Jason (Rustalyn) York of Peculiar, MO, Amber (Patrick) Coyle of Kansas City, MO, Davyd Roberts of Independence, MO, and Nikki Transue of Blue Springs, MO; 7 grandchildren: Corbin York, Aiden York, Chase Kirchhoff, Brooks Kirchhoff, Raelyn Kirchhoff, Khloee Roberts and Asher Roberts; 4 brothers, Gale (Bobbie) York of Blue Springs, MO, Daryl (Rene) York of Raytown, MO, Jeff York of Sarasota, FL, and Dale (Kathy) Morgan of Kingsville, MO; sister, Valerie (Raymond) Guyette of Grain Valley, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends; as well as his prized dogs Scout, Maverick, Rascal and Loki and his cats Sugar and Nightmare.

Celebration of life will take place January 5, 2024 from 2-4pm at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd Raytown, MO 64133.

That’s how I remember Randy , larger than life! Always smiling right up till he wasn’t. He always had my back spent countless hours on the road with him
Randy was like a personal GPS. He always new exactly where to turn and the best way to get to the delivery point. Good man.

Randy was my cousin new him more when i was younger he was always fun to be around his dad was my moms brother i will miss him. to his wife and kids Prayers to you all and many warm hugs as my thoughts are with you and Karen as you make your way through the golden gates above to be with other family who are waiting for you. RIP Randy.
