Raymond C. Booth, 89, of Raytown, Missouri, entered the loving embrace of Our Lord on July 27, 2020.
Ray was born on July 20, 1931 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Raymond and Grace Viola Booth. He worked in the construction industry for 19 years. He retired to Raytown, Missouri and for several years was the engineer for the ELI steam engine at the World’s of Fun amusement park.
He enjoyed all types of fishing, including fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, creeks, lakes, and rivers.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Lute (Nathan); his son, Paul Booth (Joy); his son, James Booth (Karla); and his daughter, Rebecca Herman (Dale); as will as many grand-children and great-grand-children.
The family plans a private memorial service, although condolences may be sent to 12505 Monroe Rd. 1079, Madison, Missouri 65263.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the American Heart Association.
