Raymond Rizzoni, Jr.

Raymond Rizzoni, Jr. referred to as Ray by his family and friends passed away on September 19, 2013.  Ray had been battling a long fight with COPD and bouts of pneumonia over the last three years; he fought it with everything in him, but could not overcome the damage, but he was a fighter.  Ray was born and raised in Chicago but left at an early age to join the Army where he spent 9 years and a tour in Vietnam.  He worked as Sales Manager at Kahan Chevrolet, he was an auto department manager for Walmart for 8 years and later in sales at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet.  At Cable he was a top salesman and sold many corvettes and was noted by GM as one of the top 500 sales consultants of 2010.  He made many lifelong friends and relationships along the way.  He was witty and charming and people gravitated towards him.  He was one of a kind.  He will be missed by all those lives he touched.  He enjoyed life and looked forward to attending the Chiefs games and meeting up with his many friends at Harrah’s.  He is survived by his daughter Darla Reid and longtime companion Rose Marie Teeter.  Due to his request he will be cremated and no services.  You can post comments to Darla Rae at bjovifan4life@yahoo.com and Rose Marie at rosem@wcblue.com (arr Heartland Cremation 816-313-1677)
