Rayna Jean Davis

Rayna Jean Davis born May 9, 2026, passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms at Children’s Mercy Downtown on May 17, 2026. She will be deeply missed by her dada, Brandon Davis, her mama, Kelsey Whittle Davis, and her big sissy, Ronoa Davis.

Rayna was with us for 8 days and in those days, she gave us her everything. Her smiles, cuddles, and the biggest fight until the end. She has the most perfect round head, kissable cheeks, little cupids bow lip, long legs and feet, soft little hands, brown curly hair, and her big blue eyes. She was the most perfect baby girl.

Although her time with us was short, she made a lasting and incredible impact on those that were fortunate enough to meet her and even those that didn’t get the chance to. When she joined this world, she completed her family, physically and emotionally.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at 3PM. Location will be lakeside in the backyard of Kelsey’s grandma’s house, 5355 S Jennings Ct. Independence, MO 64055 (Country Meadows housing edition). Rain or shine.

Not expected but in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations, which can be made in person or via Venmo at https://venmo.com/u/bmdaviis, for a memorial garden and bench that Brandon and Kelsey plan on building in their backyard to honor baby Rayna.
