On Saturday, February 11, 2023, Rebecca “Becky” Ann Meyer passed away peacefully in her sleep at 72 years of age. Becky was born on February 2, 1951, in Camdenton, Missouri to Aubrey Shores Cooper and Iris Loraine Cooper (Patterson). She devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren and family, and the hundreds of kids during her days as a childcare provider. She married Chris Allen Meyer in 1971 and was married for 43 years until his passing in 2015.
She is survived by her four children Charity Ann Rodriguez, Kymberli Ann Harrel, Christopher Michael Meyer (Candace), and Jonathan Aubrey Meyer (Kristen); one sister Audrey Dusil; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and the many extended family members and lifelong friends. She was an anchor to her family and will be missed dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the Raintree Lake Clubhouse, 825 SW Raintree Dr., Lee’s Summit, MO 64082. Per Becky’s wishes, a celebration of life will follow immediately from 1:45 to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers and to honor her generous spirit and her desire to help those in need, donations in her name can be made to Rose Brooks Center, P.O.
