Rex Bandy, 89, of Columbia passed June 21, 2014.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Rex was born on April 21, 1925 in Jonesboro, AR to Jacob and Ruby (Howard) Bandy.  Rex served in the Korean War and WWII.  He is survived by his son, David Bandy of Columbia, two nieces; Fonda Cash of Hot Spring, AR and Debbie Gibbons of Lompoc, CA, and one nephew, Gary Cash of Clarksville, AR.  Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Lantz.
