Rhonda Logan

Rhonda Gayle Pennington Logan, 49 passed away quietly in the care of loved ones after a strong fight against cancer.  Rhonda was born in Cottage Grove, OR but resided in the Kansas City area all of her adult life, with her young memories reflecting on Eastwood Hills in Kansas City, MO.  Rhonda touched many lives in the two jobs she maintained for years.  She was compassionate, humorous, friendly and above all tough.  She had to overcome many losses in her life, the biggest was the untimely death of her younger brother, which she has forever cherished.  Rhonda was not fearful of death because of those gone before but fought to remain with children.  Rhonda will be forever missed by her cherished children; Jermonie Logan, Independene, MO; Amanda Logan & Steven Logan, Kansas City, MO; devoted brothers and sisters; Paula Ferwalt, Edwards, MO; Darryl Pennington & wife Becky, Iverness, FL; Vickie Horning & husband Jim, Kansas City, MO; Douglas Pennington, Kansas City, MO; adopted sisters; Linda Bowlen & Bobbie Queen, Kansas City, MO.  Rhonda was one of six children born to Bill and Rhoda Pennington of Kansas City area.  Rhonda leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, along with countless friends and family fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
