To Mary, Michael, Richard and Family – Rick was a great guy. He always, at St John’s, had a big smile and even bigger heart to make people feel at home. I have many fond memories of his love of family and friends, and desire to bring happiness and joy to all he encountered. Our dear Father God will certainly be holding Rick in his glorious hands for eternity and allow us all the peace of knowing this. You will be missed, my brother Rick, but never forgotten. RIP Rick, we all love you.
Aunt Mary, Michael, Richard- Uncle Rick was always making people laugh. All the jokes, laughs, chiefs games, car repairs, and 4th of July cookouts will always be happy memories. I’m always here for you.
Rick we loved you in life and mourn you in death. Mary, Michael and Richard we love you and will be there for you always. Rick you were the laughter of our family. Thanksgiving will never be the same without you. Say hi to all of our family up there (to many to mention) RIP my dear nephew.
Rick was my comp growing up on the Westside. We went to St. John’s Seminary where he excelled all the more in basketball, track and character building. And Ricky was a rare character! Always humorous with a critical eye, he exerted leadership and influence to command respect earning him the nickname “Shep” among his classmates. Regrettably, we stayed in touch sporadically over the past few years. I fear my inkling to call him about a month ago may have been a presage for his transition. May he rest in peace and power with his dear mother. May his memory be cherished and his family be comforted by his enduring spirit.
Thoughts and prayers to Mary and the rest of the family. I can picture Rick walking up to a game of NBA players in heaven. And badgering them till they let him in. He’ll score a few. RIP Rick…
My sincere condolences to the entire Mora family. I had the honor of sharing 4 years with Shep at St. John’s. He was my friend, fellow classmate of 78 and someone who was a joy to spend time with. Too soon, too soon…
May we all find peace and comfort.
Well done, my good and faithful servant!
My heartfelt condolences to Mary, Michael and Richard. May God grant you strength during this difficult time.
Ricky’s sense of humor and ability to make people laugh will be missed.
Rest in eternal peace, cousin. ?
My dear cousin Ricky, I love all of my cousins, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters, my mother and father and of Grandma & Grandpa, but you were one of a kind and I will miss and love you forever. Until we meet again Ricky, I LOVE YOU.

Brother Rick, may you rest in peace – and may all your family and loved ones know peace eventually with your untimely passing. Rick was a great guy, a fabulous athlete, a wonderful classmate, and funny as all heck. I’m sure he will be missed by many. Unfortunately, I haven’t kept up with Rick for many years. Blessings to all who mourn his passing.
Deepest sympathy to you and yours.
Sincerely,
Shelley and family

Oh Rick how much you will be missed. You knowledge of many different things including music was always entertaining, we loved getting together with you and listening to music. We will also miss your laughter and how you could make others laugh. So many wonderful memories that we have shared over years. You will always be more than a brother in-law. We will miss you and we love. RIP Rick.

My condolences to Mary and family. I knew Rick from grade school and the old neighborhood and had the pleasure of getting to know him better in his neighborhood. I would run into him at Quik Trip, Price Chopper and occasionally at the Corner cocktail lounge. He always had something funny to say! Rest in Peace Rick.
