Richard Craig Ingram (Rick) (Stretch), 65, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 6pm-7:30pm at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, Missouri 64133 with Memorial Services following from 7:30pm-8pm. Richard was born on July 16, 1954 to Robert and Waunetta (Cooley) Ingram in Pittsfield, Illinois.
Rick attended Fort Osage High school, where he graduated in 1973. Richard met his loving wife, June, in 1972 and were married in 1974. He began working at Butler Manufacturing/ Brock Grain and Feed in 1973, where he eventually retired in 2017. Richard was a loving, caring, and goofy husband/father/pawpaw. At work, Stretch was a very mischievous prankster who left everyone looking over their shoulder. Rick was ornery and loved joking with everyone he knew. He was a friend to everyone he met, no matter where he went, whether it be at the racetrack, football games, or any outing with people around. Rick loved all types of racing, working on cars, going to car shows, and driving his mustang around back in the day. He had a love for fishing when he could find the time and enjoyed cooking holiday dinners. Pawpaw most enjoyed family time and picking on his grandkids while playing games.
Rick is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ingram and siblings Kenny, Bill, Roger, and Vickie Ingram.
Rick is survived by his wife, June (Hamblen) Ingram; children, Jeff Ingram, Amy Woody, Kathie (Duerkop) Ingram, and Amie Ingram; mother, Waunetta (Cooley) Ingram; brother, Ronnie Ingram; grandchildren, Kenny Duerkop, Kaileen Duerkop, Gunnar Ingram, Zach Ingram, Kara Mills, Destanie Duerkop, and Zander Ingram; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Jalen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations to help with funeral and medical expenses to June Ingram.
