Richard (Rick) Ernest McQuay of Peculiar, MO, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 10:25 pm. Rick was born in Paola, KS on July 10, 1961.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Kathleen Thrift. Survivors include two daughters, Alexis E. McQuay (age 15) and Reagan S. McQuay (age 13); father, Ronald W. McQuay; mother, Judith S. Campbell; Step mother, Wyonna K. McQuay; sisters, Cathy, Penny (and spouse Mike), Lina (and spouse Bart), Shelly ( and spouse Rick) and Kristal; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 1:30 – 3:30 pm, at Peculiar Lions Club. Would appreciate donations, made to Alexis and Reagan McQuay, in lieu of flowers.
Rick was very loved and will be greatly missed.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Rick from working along side him on a farm. He was quiet but a hard worker. Alexis and Reagan – please live your life in a way that would make your Dad proud.
