Richard Floyd Keller went home to be with the Lord at the age of 76 on May 31, 2024. He was born on February 9, 1948 in Davenport, IA to Floyd and Mary (Sheehane) Keller.
Richard had a passion for woodworking. He spent many hours building bird houses, feeders and uniquely patterned cutting boards. He was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mary (Sheehane) Keller, infant sister Marilyn, son Matthew Keller and infant grandson Rory Vance.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Leslie Keller of the home, his son Josh (Sarah) Keller, Lees Summit, daughter Ashleigh (Brandon) Vance, Warrensburg, grandson, Ezekiel Keller and two granddaughters, Grace and Eden Keller. sister Teresa Mogush, brother Wayne (Jerri) Keller.
There will be a visitation at 10 am on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown MO 64133, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial with military honors will be at Brooking Cemetery, Kansas City, MO immediately following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church on the Rock Outreach Center, 1700 SW Market St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086.
