Dick sadly lost his two children to cancer. Dick passed peacefully 36 years after the death of his son, knowing he is re-joining Gayle Marie and Mike in a better place.

Dick loved outdoor sports: softball, hunting, fishing and sailing. When he introduced Hope to whitewater rafting, they never took another vacation that didn’t include one of these water sports.

If you ever needed help with a project, Dick was there. And if you ever needed a pun, Dick was your man. All who knew him will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel & Ida Green; three siblings, Barbara, Larry and Hershel and his beloved children, Mike and Gayle Marie Green.

Survivors include: wife, Hope Green; sister, Nancy Hedden; brother, Daniel Green; numerous nieces and nephews; and his precious dogs Ikey & Otis.

So sorry to hear of Dicks passing. I was their neighbor when his daughter Gayle Marie passed. She and I were class mates. I still decorate her grave at Mound Grove. So sorry to hear her brother also passed. Gayle Marie will never be forgotten. So sorry
