Richard K. Wallace of Independence, MO passed away in the comfort of his home, on July 14, 2022, from Cancer.

Richard was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1945 to parents Harold and Evelyn Wallace. Richard grew up listening to music and became an avid vinyl collector over the years. One of his favorite musicians was Elvis Presley. He was also a beloved delivery driver for everyone’s favorite snack cakes, Hostess. Richard loved many things in life, but most of all, his wife, 3 sons and his grandchildren. Richard will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Always a great conversation with Richard behind the stores and good laugh. Great friend to have. Miss ya old buddy.

It’s been a wonderful and a great honor knowing you in this life, first as my father in-law and as a friend, but always, always family. You will be missed, but not forgotten… I’ll remember your jokes, your cooking, your love and knowledge of music, your love of animals, (mostly dogs), and how you would rescue them, usually senior dogs ?. And I will remember you as a good husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. And I will remember your kindness, and acceptance, towards me. You were a good man. Thank you for all you gave to so many. Until we meet again! Rest In Peace ??
