Richard “Kim” Kimball Becker

Richard “Kim” Kimball Becker, 64, of Kansas City passed away Sunday October 15, 2017.  Kim was born in Nebraska on November 2, 1952. He grew up in Topeka and graduated from Topeka West High.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin J. Becker, mother Joleen Kimball Rodzielski, step-father Jim Rodzielski and his brother, John Becker.  Kim is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kristine and Jordan Yulich, Tecumseh, Kansas, his extended family and many friends. 
Kim was a loving father, devoted friend and hardworking mechanic. Over his life he worked for Medevac and Ferrell Construction. He lived his life to help others and made a friend everywhere he went.  Kim was a free spirit with an infectious laugh and smile. He enjoyed working in his garage, riding a motorcycle out on the open road and listening to music. He always lived life to the fullest and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday December 9, 2017 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church (West Campus),867 US-40, Lawrence KS 66049. It will be casual dress and friends and family are welcome to come and share memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Kim Becker Memorial Fund c/o Emprise Bank, P. O. Box 3466, Lawrence, KS. 66049.
