Richard “Dick” Edward Lightfoot, 83, Lake Waukomis, MO, passed away December 3, 2004. No formal services will be held at his request. The family requests any remembrances be made to Northcare Hospice and The Ronald McDonald House. He was born July 29, 1921. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Florine” Lightfoot. When he was asked how long they had been married he answered “forever”; son, Dale Lightfoot; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Lightfoot & John Thurman; daughter-inlaw, Lois Lightfoot; grandchildren Christopher Wilson and wife Lisa, Amy Lightfoot, Lisa Lightfoot-Taylor and husband Jason, Janiece Lightfoot; great-grandchildren Brianna and Patric Wilson, and Ashton Lightfoot-Taylor. He was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church and Platte Woods United Methodist Church. He was a Navy WWII Veteran and served on the USS Yorktown as an aerial photographer. He was a past President of the K.C. Photographers Association, and was an active member in the Missouri State Photographers Association. He and his wife owned and operated Lightfoot Photography until he retired. When asked how he was, he would always say, “Not bad for a Friday” because to him, every day was a Friday. H loved life, family, and friends with an ability to have that love felt by all that touched his life. He will be deeply missed by all
