Richard Mack Kidwell

Richard Mack Kidwell, 79 of Bates City, Missouri passed away January 2, 2022. Memorial services with military honors will be held at 1st Baptist Church of Bates City on February 12, 2022 at 1:00pm.  A celebration of life dinner will be held in the fellowship room  immediately after services.  Memorial services will be officiated by our pastor and dear friend, Pastor Matt Dunn.

Richard is proceeded in death by:  father, Bart H Kidwell; mother, Julia Mae Kidwell; daughter, Paula M Williams; brothers, Ernie Kidwell, David L Kidwell, and William I Kidwell.

Richard is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Sharon a Kidwell; daughter, Stacey R Brown; sons, Richard L Kidwell and Ronald L Kidwell; granddaughters, Whitney (Anthony) Torres, Amanda (Andy) Marr, and Jessica (Clinton) Wild; 5 wonderful great grandchildren; brothers, Bart D Kidwell and family, Arthur Ray Kidwell and family, John H Kidwell and family, Joe Kidwell and family, George B Kidwell and family; sisters, Mary Ferrie and family, Minnie Callaway and family, Mollie Rodgers and family, Judy Kidwell and family; and many more family, extended family and friends.

    Richard touched my heart and soul when I first met him and his lovely Wife Sharon (my mom and dad). Your whole family are in my prayers. May God give you peace at this much needed time. RIP my KU oops dad. Love you all

    He touched our family, he is the one that made my son fall in love with fishing. Timmy along with the rest of my family love him, he was and still is a wonderful man.

    I’m so sorry for the family’s loss, I will miss watching the races and news with hin as we made fun of the people acting like fools.Richard was one of the most solid men I have ever met in my life ,never said what he didnt mean and you always knew where you stood with him and he would do anything for anyone the world will not be the same without him in it anymore I will miss that smile everytime I walked through his door.
